Composition and Content of MTA Sinh Khi Medicine:
Formulation (for one 4g hard pill sachet):
Active Ingredients:
Each sachet contains 2.5g of dry herbal extract equivalent to the following medicinal herbs:
Angelica sinensis (Đương quy): 2.67g
Bupleurum chinense (Sài hồ): 2.00g
Codonopsis pilosula (Đảng sâm): 4.00g
Atractylodes macrocephala (Bạch truật): 2.67g
Glycyrrhiza uralensis (Cam thảo): 2.00g
Astragalus membranaceus (Hoàng kỳ): 4.00g
Citrus reticulata (Trần bì): 1.33g
Cimicifuga foetida (Thăng ma): 2.00g
Excipients: Starch, white sugar, honey, sodium benzoate, activated charcoal, paraffin, sufficient to make 4g.
Dosage Form: Hard spherical pills, black in color, with a herbal aroma and a sweet-bitter taste.
Uses of MTA Sinh Khi:
Tonifies the spleen, benefits qi, and raises yang.
Indications:
Spleen and stomach weakness, poor appetite, fatigue, spontaneous sweating, or feverish sensation.
Prolonged functional fever, chronic illness, fatigue, limb weakness, shortness of breath, panting, or exhaustion.
Dosage and Administration:
Adults: 1 sachet (4g) of hard pills, 3 times daily.
Children over 5 years old: ½ sachet, 3 times daily.
Contraindications:
Patients with diabetes, yin deficiency with exuberant fire, or hypertension.
Acute dysentery, excessive sweating, headaches, insomnia due to hypertension, hematemesis, epistaxis, qi rebellion, or acute wheezing.
Children under 30 months of age, or children with a history of epilepsy or seizures due to high fever.
Warnings and Precautions:
The medicine contains white sugar; patients with rare hereditary conditions such as fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency should not use this medicine.
Use in Pregnancy and Lactation:
