Ingredients of MTA Phế Quản Capsules

Each 500mg capsule contains 250mg of dry extract equivalent to the following herbs:

– Poria (Phục linh): 1.24g
– Atractylodes (Bạch truật): 0.93g
– Cinnamon twig (Quế chi): 0.62g
– Licorice (Cam thảo): 0.31g
– Excipients just enough for 1 capsule.

How to Use MTA Phế Quản Capsules

– Take 3 times per day. If experiencing shortness of breath at night, take an additional dose before bedtime.
– Children over 12 years old: Take 2 capsules per dose.
– Adults: Take 3 capsules per dose.
– Each treatment course lasts for 3 months. It is recommended to use for 2–3 courses.

– Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, or individuals allergic to any of the ingredients in this product.

In Traditional Oriental Medicine (TOM), bronchitis falls under the category of Khái Thấu (cough) and Đàm Ẩm (phlegm and fluid retention). According to TOM, external causes include exposure to pathogenic environmental factors like wind-cold or wind-heat. These disrupt the normal function of the lungs, leading to stagnation of phế khí (lung qi) and impaired qi circulation, resulting in cough and excessive phlegm.
