Traditional Chinese Medicine for Treating Frequent Urination
Frequent urination is a common condition that affects people of all ages and demographics. Currently, there are many methods to treat frequent urination, and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is becoming a popular choice for many people due to its safety and high effectiveness.
Symptoms of Frequent Urination
According to a study, a healthy person typically urinates 7-8 times a day, excluding one urination at night. Therefore, frequent urination is defined as urinating more than 8 times a day and more than 2 times at night.
Additionally, the amount of urine per visit also reflects the condition. The normal amount of urine a person should excrete per day is no more than 3000ml. However, some people may experience frequent urination with very little urine or feel pain or burning during urination. For these cases, close monitoring is necessary to identify the underlying cause.
If frequent urination is not treated in a timely manner, it can be very dangerous, leading to complications that impact the patient’s health and could even be a sign of kidney failure.
How to Treat Frequent Urination?
Follow a balanced diet and adopt healthy lifestyle habits: Always ensure adequate nutrition to strengthen the immune system. Limit the use of stimulants like alcohol, tobacco, etc. Avoid spicy foods or seasonings, and include plenty of vegetables, fiber, and fresh fruits in your daily meals.
Drink enough water: Make sure to drink enough water each day, not too much or too little (1-1.5 liters).
Exercise regularly: Maintaining a regular exercise routine is essential for overall health, helping to relieve stress and pressure.

In addition to Western medicine treatments, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) methods for treating frequent urination are becoming increasingly popular due to their safety and effectiveness.
Supporting Treatment for Frequent Urination with TCM
Frequent urination not only affects daily life, work, and activities but can also cause a feeling of pelvic heaviness, lower abdominal pain. If this condition persists for a long time, it can lead to symptoms such as urinating pus or blood, which are indications of dangerous underlying health issues.
If frequent urination is not treated promptly, it can eventually lead to kidney failure. Therefore, to avoid the serious consequences of frequent urination, patients need to undergo examination and receive timely treatment. Currently, there are many methods to treat frequent urination, and TCM remedies are considered safe and highly effective.
A typical remedy for treating frequent urination is the "Ba Vi Di Hoang Wan" formula, which includes: Shu Di, Huai Shan, Shen Zhu, Dan Pi, Bai Ling, Rou Gui, Fu Zi, and Yi Zhi Ren. This formula works by tonifying kidney yang, improving the filtration function in the glomerulus, and helping to reduce symptoms like frequent urination and bladder tension. Specifically:
Shu Di: Nourishes the yin, replenishes the blood, and tonifies the kidneys.
Shen Zhu: Tonifies the liver and kidneys, astringes and firms the body.
Huai Shan: Nourishes the stomach, generates fluids, strengthens the lungs, and tonifies the kidneys.
Dan Pi: Clears heat, cools the blood, activates blood circulation, and removes blood stasis.
Fu Zi: Dispels dampness, unblocks the bladder, promotes urination, and aids digestion.
Bai Ling: Promotes urination, expels dampness, strengthens the spleen, calms the mind, and settles the spirit.
Rou Gui: Warms the body, restores yang, strengthens the kidneys and spleen, promotes blood circulation, and dispels cold accumulation.
Yi Zhi Ren: Warms the kidneys, stabilizes the essence, and consolidates urination.
Using the essence of this formula and combining it with modern, GMP-standard technology, MTA Pharmaceuticals has produced the MTA Tiểu Đêm product, which is effective in tonifying kidney yang and supporting the reduction of frequent urination symptoms. It is especially beneficial for those with kidney yang deficiency, lower back pain, sexual weakness, and frequent nighttime urination.

Measures to Overcome Frequent Nighttime Urination
To address the issue of frequent nighttime urination, you can apply the following measures:
Drink Less Water Before Bed
In the evening, especially before going to bed, you should limit water intake compared to other times of the day. Additionally, avoid consuming coffee, alcohol, and beer, as they can interfere with the natural urination cycle.
Eat a Small Amount of Raisins
Many people believe that eating raisins before sleep can have a positive effect on nighttime urination habits. You can test this tip by eating about 1/4 cup of raisins 30 minutes before bed for several days and observing any differences.
Practice Yoga
Yoga exercises that strengthen the pelvic floor often have positive effects in preventing and supporting the treatment of nighttime urination. You can try the following exercises:
Squats
Locust Pose
Chair Yoga
Warrior II Pose
Child's Pose
Kegel Exercises
Kegel exercises are specifically designed for the pelvic floor muscles. These muscles impact the urinary system, so doing Kegel exercises can significantly enhance pelvic floor function and address various health issues, including urinary problems.
